Institutional and Authentic Vietnamese restaurant that has been here for decades. The decor is unique and the food tasty but a little on the expensive side. Awesome for large groups if you make a booking first. The kids play area is amazing and the free arcade games were a hit with our kids. We will definitely come again. Highly recommended!

Favourite go to place when I'm in Sydney, this place goes off on weekends. Upstairs is where you want to be, it's like a jungle. The toilets have a huge collection of empty Hennessy bottles, there's arcade machines for kids and a playground with secret tunnels. The food is pretty unique to this place, everything I posted is good. They have this raw blood cockle salad that's probably the best in Australia. Best to book in a large group, if small you can easily walk in but it's quiet busy

This place gets more wraps than a Christo sculpture. Our visit showed that the reputation is being ridden a little too carelessly. The "world's best chicken" is ok, but hardly the best in a 5 minute walk. The beef sausages are pleasant without any notes of Vietnamese idiosyncrasy, the greens do their job, like the sidewalk outside does. The burnt rice cake needed a little longer on the char, and the shallots something other than sugar water to transport them. The highlights are the passion drink...totes fun yum, and the steamed $65 silver perch. It's a delight, though the stuffing of lemon grass needed some cutting to let its flavour release yo the fish. The sauce supplied would be great for a strong flavoured mackerel, but overpowers this fish, like an assailant after your wallet. All in all, this was a meal that satisfied. But satisfaction ain't the game they play here. They want to wow you...well, at least they used to.

This place is pretty known for their shop appearance and lightnings. Come here for lunch. There are plenty of outdoor seatings, so a pet friendly outdoor area. The food and price are reasonable. Food is cooked tasty. Durian drink is to cool you down from hot weather. Will come again for dinner next time.

Enjoyable meals but pricey. Efficient service and quirky service staff. Interesting decor, lots to see that reflects the homage of the restaurants origins. Upper deck, lower deck, outdoor seating and toilets at the back.

I haven’t been here for more than 10years. Old memory experience wasn’t the same anymore. Street food near fine dining price. Worth a try if you haven’t been here before.

Excellent vietnamese food! Big portions so if you wanna try a few items then better to go in a group of 4-6 people! Food comes out very quickly and tastes amazing each time I’ve been! Recommend beef in betel leaf, burnt rice, lotus stem pork and prawn salad and braised fish! All the other dishes are yummy too like the grilled chicken and steamboat! Booking ahead on weekends will save you waiting around. No street parking usually so best to park in multi level carpark behind richards on the park for free!
